Smaller, Smarter Government

During these tough economic times families are making difficult choices every day while struggling to pay their bills. Government needs to make the same sacrifices we are. Raising taxes and borrowing more on the backs of our children and grandchildren must stop. John will work to implement policies that save money by reducing and streamlining state government and let you keep more of what you earn. Job-creating sates have decreased the cost of government by consolidating functions, agencies and eliminating excessive administrative overhead. Each agency and department should prioritize programs and activities each fiscal year. This would help determine what to fund and what to reduce or eliminate.
